Sheena’s Heritage
In the 1800s, Sheena’s ancestors began cultivating rice in Punjab, India and, since 1933, have specialised in Basmati. After the Partition of 1947, her Grandparents relocated to Punjab, Pakistan, where the family continue nurturing and perfecting the grain to this day.
The Home of Basmati
Pakistan Punjab is renowned as the heartland of premium Basmati. From this fertile region comes Sheena’s speciality, the finest 1121 Basmati, prized worldwide for its extra-long grains and rich aroma. Whether a Pilau or a Biryani, Sheena guarantees consistency in our grains.
The Sheena Promise
Honouring the family’s legacy, Sheena promises only a single, pure grain variety with a quality and authenticity that can be trusted, whether raw (pure white), steamed (grand triple steam) or parboiled (golden sella).
